The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Experience with the following architecture techniques: Request/Response, Event-Driven/Streaming and Batch/ETL architectures
  • Minimum 6 years' experience with Java 8 and above (Required)
  • Minimum 5 years’ RESTful API Design (Required)
  • Open API Spec / Swagger (Required)
  • Software SDKs and frameworks: Spring Boot (Required); Spring.io, Spring Cloud, Mockito, Junit
  • Languages: Java (required); Typescript (Preferred)
  • DevSecOps: GitLab (Required); GitLab CI/Runner, SonarQube, Artifactory, Maven
  • Highly experienced with API-First methodology, OpenAPI Specification
  • Cloud-native microservice architectures and API Layering concepts
  • API Dev Portals, API Management tools and practices
  • NoSQL, ORM, JDBC
  • Object Oriented Design Patterns 
  • Multi-threading/Concurrency asynchronous solutions
  • Heavy Restful API development

Desired:
  • Language Typescript (Preferred)

  • Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits
  • Analyze and resolve technical and business logic problems
  • Monitor, promote, and propose emerging technologies for adoption that can help facilitate better efficiencies, increased agility and performance, reduced complexities, and improved automation
  • Ability to contribute to the team quickly
  • Deliver RESTful APIs
  • Adhere to high-quality development principles while delivering solutions that meet the needs of our customers and partners in a timely and cost-effective manner
  • Work closely during design and implementation phase with our product owner, architect, UX designer, security engineer, platform engineer and compliance analyst to make sure we are incorporating and accounting for non-functional requirements that meet usability, performance, reliability, security, and audit/compliance practices for our servicing and cloud contact center solution
