Job Description
REMOTE
This role is remote and pays up to 90K. This is a functional/people-focused role to motivate tool adoption with Dephix (compliance as focus) and Collibra (quality management tool.) Does not require experience with the tools, just enterprise data masking process knowledge.
Must live within 500 miles of Nebraska or Ohio.
This role must understand enterprise level data masking processes and will be tasked with Tool Adoption and coordination efforts (scrum master). The ideal candidate will have a passion for data and expertise in data governance principles, strong analytical skills, and experience applying and enhancing data protection frameworks.
Must have:
PROCESS knowledge for applying masking technology as wel as TOOL ADOPTION/ ENABLEMENT experience.
Data compliance/data masking policy, review of algorithms to use to mask data and data elements. Does not need to be an expert in insurance compliance, will be working with data owner, data compliance experts and security experts. There is a Profiler already configured specific to company policy that makes recommendations.
1-3 years relevant experience required to include a combination of the following:
•Experience in data protection, data security, test data management, data governance, and business analysis roles within complex organizational environments
•Understanding of data protection and security concepts, methodologies, and tools, including masking, encryption, access controls, vulnerability management, and security incident response
•Experience with test data management practices, including data masking and synthetic data generation
•Knowledge of data governance frameworks, standards, and best practices, with experience in developing and implementing data governance policies, standards, and controls
•Understanding of data governance principles, best practices, and industry standards
Responsibilities:
Implement Test Data Management frameworks, methodologies, and tooling to ensure the availability, integrity, and confidentiality of non-production data while adhering to data protection and privacy requirements
•Monitor and optimize test data protection processes to improve efficiency, scalability, and minimize data-related risks
•Develop, implement, and maintain data protection policies, standards, and controls to safeguard sensitive data from unauthorized access, disclosure, and misuse
•Continuously look for improvement opportunities to increase the value and business outcome of the Data Governance function
•Facilitate and lead meetings with data owners, data stewards, security, and compliance to identify and address data protection use cases and issues
•Collaborate with data owners, security, compliance, software engineering and QA teams to identify and protect sensitive data assets in non-production environments
Plus:
Delphix and/or Collibra functional experience
Enterprise Insurance compliance experience
