The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Experience designing, configuring, installing, maintaining and managing network blade physical servers, LAN/WAN and systems (windows o/s, VMware)
- Experience designing Routers, Core switches, Branch/closet, switches, Wireless, Firewalls, Load balancers, SDWAN
- Project Management experience
- Experience with high availability storage networks
- Office 365 tenant administration experience
- Experience recommending and implementing security improvements based on technology security standards and offerings.
- experience designing, implementing and managing complex networks in a multi-site configuration.
- Cisco or Aruba experience
- Upcoming projects include:
- SharePoint online
- Exchange to Azure cloud
- One drive migration
- Network shared folders from on prem to SP
- Network re-design
- Fiber optic cabling
- Conversion from Cisco to Aruba
- Ability and willingness to travel on mostly day trips with company car a few times a quarter
Responsibilities:
- Analyze, design, deliver and maintain complex infrastructure solutions, including multiple-user platforms, network, and storage solutions according to business and technical requirements.
- Design and implement high availability and disaster recovery solutions that mitigate outages defined within recovery point and time objectives
- Manage projects or stages of projects and lead others in the proper and effective application of project management processes and procedures. Conduct quality reviews to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to the approved scope and design specifications
- Lead and assist others in effectively investigating and diagnosing incidents and root cause analysis of problems
- Develop, implement, and document solutions promptly and validate with users that service has been restored
- Lead collaboration and requirements gathering with application developers focusing on infrastructure components for new projects and production support scenarios
- Design and implement security controls and standards for supported platforms. Collaborate with internal and external partners to design and implement appropriate solutions to mitigate technical system vulnerability
