Overview/Background:
Join our client’s Cloud transformation, modernization journey as a strategic leader executing your vision. If you have experience building and leading cloud services teams, fostering cloud adoption and governance in a multi-cloud environment, your experience is needed to drive us to success. Manage a growing team of 5 including cloud and sharepoint engineers.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Experience building/leading cloud services teams
- Ability to foster Cloud adoption and governance
- Strategic – come in and see the vision and execute on it
- Background in multi-cloud environments (Azure, AWS, Google, etc.) and M365
QUALIFICATIONS
•At least 5 years’ experience as an IT leader
• Demonstrable experience showing the ability to plan, schedule and implement new business functions, and to direct and manage human, technical resources.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills - must be able to communicate clearly and professionally, orally and in writing, across all levels of the organization.
• Exceptional organizational skills, problem-solving skills, and flexibility to respond to changing priorities.
• Team player with the ability to share knowledge and develop colleagues for the overall benefit of the team and organization.
• Five years’ of experience managing/leading networking, infrastructure or cloud application system engineering teams
Desired:
• Master’s Degree, preferably in a related field.
• Position-related certifications (ITIL, COBIT and PMP for example).
• Experience driving positive organizational change.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
• Knowledge of and experience in leveraging monitoring and management tools, deployment processes and tools
• Knowledge of Service Delivery (DevOps) and technical quality control processes, artifacts and related tools
• Experience with vendor and vendor contract management, including SLA review
• Influential communication style on technical and non-technical subjects across all levels of the organization
• Strong executive presentation skills. Demonstrate ability to effectively manage, coach and develop a diverse workforce
• Welcomes challenges, pivoting an organization and delivering solid business solutions to business partners
• Strong knowledge of end-to-end IT software and systems solution delivery from idea conception, design, development and transition into production operations and maintenance
• Knowledge of different solution delivery methodologies such as waterfall, agile, hybrid methods, etc.
• Ability to lead and manage under conditions of ambiguity and uncertainty
• Ability to lead a diverse and geographically dispersed team in a constantly evolving environment
