Candidates must be eligible to work in the US on a W2 basis without sponsorship or visa transfer

Core Responsibilities:
* Work closely with peer developers, testers, a systems analyst and Scrum Master to provide development and technical support for the mainframe applications owned by the team
* Participate in progressive elaboration, refinement and estimation sessions as well as daily standups
* Work from high level requirements through detailed specifications, prototype, software deployment, test and administration of mainframe applications
* Participate in upgrading or enhancing existing applications.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Solid history of application development, support, modifications, enhancements and troubleshooting
* Experienced with mainframe technologies including but not limited to COBOL, MVS, CICS, and JCL
* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent work experience
* Minimum 5 years Cobol, MVS/JCL, TSO, CICS experience
* Experience with Sort Utility software (i.E. DFSORT, SYNCSORT)
* DB2 experience
* Experience with Scheduling, File Manager, File Transfer and Debug software
* Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
* Keen attention to detail with focus on quality
* Strong collaboration and communication skills

* MQ Series
* Experience working with Fiserv s ARP or ACH PEP+ products would be a value add
* Experience working in an Agile environment
* Experience in banking/financial services industry

Additional Information:
* Start Date: ASAP
* Assignment Length: 1 year contract to hire - candidates must be eligible to work in the US on a W2 basis without sponsorship or visa transfer
