 UTILITY CC&B Mulesoft Integrations Project Manager

This work will be strategically focused, we are seeking high quality project and program management skillsets that can engage at various levels of the organizational structure and able to work across multiple business units. Much of this work will require interfacing with vendors, Strategic Initiative Leaders, business partners, technology architects and technology stakeholders.

In this role, we are seeking a strong technology Project Manager that has experience with projects consisting of a significant number of complex integrations on a MuleSoft platform. The Customer Care and Billing (CC&B) system is one of our most highly integrated systems, there is a need to make configuration adjustments to CC&B system and build and rebuild integrations to support the digital transformation work. There will be other systems that will need integration work; however, CC&B (an Oracle product) will have most of the needed integrations. There may be a need to use other integration technology other than MuleSoft, but MuleSoft is expected to be the primary platform for integrations. The outcome of this work is not just the integrations, but it is part of a larger transformational program. This role will need to work closely with the program manager and other project managers who are leading projects that are interdependent on the integrations.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
  • Ability to manage and support a large contingent of consulting partners
  • Executive presence, reporting to senior leadership
  • Minimum of 6-8 years’ formal project management experience with focus on technology projects to deliver business outcomes
  • Prior experience managing 2 or more projects\programs simultaneously with value of over $2 million each.
  • Previous experience managing the delivery of multiple assignments with overlapping priorities & timelines
  • Previous experience working in and/or leading cross-functional teams
  • Competency in the use of project management tools
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and influencing skills, transparency
  • Ability to multi-task with competing priorities
  • Prior experience with transformation projects, from strategic planning through execution
  • Ability to work across the organization from IT to the business at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to quickly adapt to existing PM methods and requirements while meeting business requirements
  • Desire to bring people along on the journey while meeting deadlines and deliverables
  • Patience and persistence, humility, vulnerability
  • We are seeking candidates with large vendor management experience- representing the client in projects with PWC, Deloitte, and Accenture
  • Utility Program Management experience
  • Project Management Certification
  • Demonstrated ability to work in agile\waterfall hybrid organizations

Core Responsibilities:
  • Handle planning and execution, finance planning and work product planning across strategic projects
