CSS Staffing has an open position with a local Managed Service Provider client for an entry-level Desktop Support Technician.  Do you help your family with setting up and fixing laptops and installing household IoT technology?  The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated, team-oriented, effective communicator who has exceptional customer service and analytical skills who is ready to enter into technology and grow their career quickly. 

Core Responsibilities:
  • This position will be the primary technical resource for the effective installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of Desktop hardware and software for a variety of customers.
  • Provide phone, remote control and on-site break-fix support for printers, desktops, laptops and phones 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity and performance issues 
  • Set up user accounts, permissions, mailboxes, groups and other Server Administration tasks
  • Drive to client sites to deliver and install networking devices 
  • Document and update all support requests within ticketing system 
  • Update internal documentation regarding changes in clients' network infrastructure and software configuration 
  • Communicate professionally and clearly with customers regarding status and timelines of requests
  • Follow established procedures to ensure repeatable results 
  • Provide limited training to users regarding how to use their computer and software - setting up shortcuts, email signatures, etc. 
The successful candidate will possess the following skills:
  • Touches technology daily through gaming, setting up laptops, or helping configure household IoT items.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Quick learner with positive attitude and eagerness to deliver fast quality support to customers
  • A+ or network+ is helpful (not required)
  • 1 - 3 years of help desk (+)
  • Desktop, Windows, Printers, Application Support (+)
  • MSP experience (+)
  • Ms Azure experience (+)
  • MS Intune experience- for enterprise mobile device management (+)
