Data Governance Analyst

You will be instrumental in maintaining data quality and integrity, and in fostering a culture of data sharing and collaboration throughout the organization
Essential Job Functions:
Salary 100-135K + significant bonus and relocation expense if needed

You will be instrumental in maintaining data quality and integrity, and in fostering a culture of data sharing and collaboration throughout the organization
Essential Job Functions:
- Assist in the development and implementation of the data governance framework, including defining roles and responsibilities.
- Support the establishment and monitoring of data quality metrics, rules, and processes.
- Help identify and address data quality issues, contributing to both immediate fixes and long-term solutions.
- Work closely with data stewards and data owners in data governance activities.
- Contribute to the development and upkeep of the data catalog and data lineage documentation.
- Provide support and insights on data governance best practices and tools.
- Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to support data governance initiatives and projects.
- Help ensure adherence to data privacy, security, and regulatory standards.
- Be an active participant in driving data adoption and literacy across the organization.
- Proven experience with data governance tools and platforms.
- High compliance with data governance best-practices and standards.
- Prior experience building data literacy programs to educate business users on the discovery and usage of data related products
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or related business degree
- Certification in data governance, data quality, or data management.
- Background in data engineering and data analytics.
- Fundamental grasp of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
